How I love the warmer weather and sunshine! I’m thankful to live in south Texas in the winter! It was this time of year, 43 years ago that I decided to surrender my life to Jesus and let him teach me how to live it. I don’t mean that I’ve always been perfect at all!! But that was my first decision to surrender. I have never regretted it!
Just as the leaves lose their leaves, the ground loses its color and the plants die in winter… we have a continual surrender every today. Life is a series of yielding up… surrendering or even dying to ourselves. In these times of loss or surrendering, I find myself feeling alone. When I turn my eyes to Him I can see clearly… it is the way of love! There is new life ahead, refreshing, healing, tender mercy and forgiveness in His love. I invite you to surrender your worries and whatever causes you pain, to the One who is able to bring new life where there was nothing. Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine, according to the power that is at work within us [Eph 3:20]!
I would like to invite you to do a book study with me starting in February. The book is “The Emotionally Healthy Woman – Eight things you have to quit to change your life” by Geri Scazzero. I’ll be talking about the book in February and March during our yoga classes. I hope you’ll order it on Amazon and read along with me! I’m open to meeting once a week to talk about the book too. If you are interested in doing that, please let me know.
There are no holidays or breaks in Feb-Mar, our classes will be at the normal times:
· Tuesdays at Noon – Gentle Yoga (a deep gentle stretch)
· Thursday at 630 pm – Level 2 (a little more challenging)
Both are held at Galloway Chiropractic, 9410 FM 1960, 77077
My reason for doing what I do is to help others to experience the healing and wholeness I have experienced through the Savior, meditation on God’s word, movement and breathing. It’s that simple. I am available for individual sessions or small groups also. Send a text or email and we can discuss what may work best.
Love and blessings!! Ann
